Don Quixote, the ingenious hidalgo
Based on the famous novel from Miguel de Cervantes, Don Quixote is a quick game of wit and strategy, for 2 to 6 players and with 20min play time.
In a village in la Mancha, whose name I do not care to remember, an hidalgo lived not long ago, one of those who keeps a lance on the rack, an old leather shield, skinny nag and swift greyhound.

The game
Each round, the ingenious Don Quixote will head for a new adventure, chasing either glory or love. Players can decide whether to help him, like the trusted Sancho Panza in the novel, ignore him or perhaps actively try to have him fail.
Everyone votes simultaneously: if collectively players are helping more than getting in the way, Don Quixote completes his adventure. Otherwise, he realizes he was imagining things, and increases his delusion. Eventually the hidalgo will reach glory, love or delusion, which will be the end of the game.
The twist: the more the knight progresses in one track, the more valuable your contributions to that track are. Can you outwit the other players, winning their support when needed while not giving away your focus?

It's a great way to learn about this beautiful work and its message, while having fun.
